Husan Emergency Committee Launches “Ein Al-Hawiyyeh” Initiative in Partnership with SFI

The Husan Emergency Committee, in collaboration with SFI, has launched the “Ein Al-Hawiyyeh” initiative as part of the “Youth Partnership Forum” project, aiming to protect and develop one of the village’s most significant heritage sites.

The initiative targets the “Ein Al-Hawiyyeh” area, which is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location features natural springs and serves as a key destination for domestic tourism and national hiking trails. However, it has been repeatedly subjected to settler attacks and environmental neglect.

Through this initiative, the organizers seek to strengthen the resilience of local residents by protecting the site from ongoing violations, improving its surroundings by creating rest areas for farmers, beautifying the space, and promoting local tourism — all while reinforcing values of solidarity, social justice, and equality.
