SFI participated in the conference to adopt Jerusalem as the Arab Youth Capital, organized by the Higher Council for Youth and Sports in implementation of the decision of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers. The conference included local and international youth organizations, both in person and online.
The SFI welcomed the decision, emphasizing that Jerusalem is a symbol of identity and belonging for Arab youth.
During the dialogue session organized by the Palestinian National Youth Council, the SFI presented proposals to support Palestinian youth, including psychosocial support, training, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, and support for youth initiatives related to Jerusalem and Palestine.
The SFI also highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation and networking between Palestinian and Arab youth through exchange programs, joint initiatives, and digital platforms for cooperation and sharing experiences
SFI participation reflects the important role of Palestinian youth in keeping Jerusalem at the heart of Arab youth engagement and promoting opportunities for cooperation and joint youth initiatives.
