Horeya Group in Umm Salmona village implemented the "My Green Village" initiative, which aimed to provide a safe and suitable space for all village residents and to prepare public areas to be more welcoming and accessible.

The initiative focused on improving the local environment through planting greenery, organizing and cleaning public spaces, and creating an environment that combines beauty and comfort, contributing to community belonging and improving the quality of life in the village.

This initiative comes as part of the Youth Incubator Project implemented by SFI in partnership with the Norwegian People's Aid(NPA), which aims to empower youth and local groups to carry out innovative community projects that strengthen social resilience and develop green infrastructure in Palestinian villages and communities.

Participants expressed their happiness in contributing to the improvement of the village environment, emphasizing that these safe spaces represent an important step toward enhancing social bonds and encouraging residents to actively participate in preserving their local environment.
