SFI, in partnership with NPA, implemented the first day of the “Position Paper Writing” training for Youth Incubator members as part of its efforts to strengthen young people’s advocacy and decision-making engagement skills.
The training focused on introducing participants to the concept of position papers and their importance as an advocacy tool. It also covered the main components of a position paper and the steps for preparing it using a structured approach based on issue analysis, evidence, and data to produce clear and practical recommendations.
The first day included interactive activities and group discussions that gave participants the opportunity to learn the basic steps of writing effective position papers and connect them to the four main themes of the Youth Incubator: Gender, Youth Participation, National Identity, and Social Economy.
